Being A Wellness Warrior In A Changing World

Hi.  My name is Alissa, and I am an Asian Warrior Princess.   It's sounds like a cartoon, but it's actually real life.  And an avatar for my best self.  The version of myself I try to support with optimum health and wellness.  We live in a fast paced and changing world.  Sometimes becoming our best selves means showing up with warrior spirit.

I am a Microbiologist and Plant Based Cheesemaker.  I've been making authentically fermented plant based cheese for fifteen years now.  My original cheese company  (sold nationwide for a decade pre-pandemic) was called Punk Rawk Labs.  I am working on a next generation line of cheeses now at Future Hero Cave.

Currently, I am caring for my mom with Alzheimer's.  My elder care moment landed right in the middle of the pandemic.  This is an era which is inspiring a lot of children of baby boomers to recalibrate their approach to elder care and wellness.  My mom and I built an amazing garden to stay engaged through this time.  The results have been miraculous...
